Whale watching with Captain Steve
| Captain Steve operates a whale watching
boat out of the Lahaina harbor. We were treated to a closeup hunt
for the gentle giants.
I wish I could say I got some fantastic photos on the trip but I didn't. I would have loved to have a shot of the whale who performed the full breach with a twist for us (Score: 10.0) but it didn't happen. Either the camera was pointed the other way or I was just too engrossed to be worrying about it. |

We had a great time although I arrived
back at the wharf a bit wetter than when I had gone out:
Both windsurfing and kite boarding were
popular in the surf in front of our condo.
Very colorful and the good riders of
the kite boards could catch air and do acrobatics.
